The Enemy Captured the Church

I opened my Bible at 1 Samuel, chapter 4, and my eye was caught by the title: "The Philistines Capture the Ark." I immediately heard the Lord say, "The enemy captured the Church."

The enemy has made us believe that "the Church" is a building, a place of worship, somewhere that we go to, but that was never intended. Any study of the word "church" in the Bible will show that it refers to a group of Believers and never to a building.

Jesus called His apostles to change the world, and we have miserably failed. He told us to love Him and to love our neighbors, and we have loved ourselves and our church buildings and let the world go to Hell. Jesus prayed for His followers to be in unity, and we have had division, after division, after division. That is the work of the enemy.

Jesus said that He would build His Church (see Matthew 16:18), and for 2,000 years we have tried to do it for Him. That's how the enemy got to steal it - we had stolen it first. Oh, I know it was the enemy, not you and me personally, but it is up to you and me personally to take it back. Do you remember Daniel's prayer? Daniel, who was innocent, identified with the sin of his people. Can we do the same?

Daniel 9:3-6 I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed: "O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant of love with all who love Him and obey His commands, we have sinned and done wrong. We have been wicked and have rebelled; we have turned away from Your commands and laws. We have not listened to Your servants the prophets, who spoke in Your name..."

Daniel identified with the sin of his nation.

All across the world Christians have allowed the enemy to steal the real Church, and it is time for those of us who recognize that to repent and plead for mercy.

There is much we can learn from the Bible story which prompted this message, but briefly this is what I felt was important.

Don't Treat the Presence of God in Our Lives as a Superstition

1 Samuel, Chapters 4-7

The Israelites were having problems with the Philistines, so they took the Ark into battle with them as a sort of mascot or lucky charm. They were living under superstition. The enemy was very perturbed by the renewed enthusiasm among the Israelites and panicked, but quickly their army pulled themselves together and fought to win. The consequence was that the Ark was captured and taken into Philistine territory.

If the Church feels secure in the Lord as a good luck symbol, or as a superstition, it doesn't work! If we believe that "going to church" will get us through the battle of life and into Heaven, we are wrong. The enemy is strong and seems often to be much more together than the people of God.
A lot of God's people died, including the sons of Eli who had already been warned about their behavior (see 1 Samuel 3:11-14). What a responsibility it is to be a parent, a physical one and a spiritual one. If we don't parent the next generation, then the enemy will steal them from us.

When old Eli was told of his sons' deaths and of the Ark being taken, he died by falling off his chair and breaking his neck. The Bible tells us that he was heavy, and was negligent about his responsibilities.

How many Church leaders and Church members do you know, do I know, who have gotten heavy, well fed, in the house of God, but have not been good parents or good shepherds to their flock? Before I point any fingers, I have to remind myself that I am the Church. The Church is the people, not the building, neither is it the pastor or priest. It is you and me.

Jesus never asked us to build buildings, to have programmes or to make money, He asked us basically to love Him and to go and tell the nations of His love for us and for them. If we keep on the move, it is not so easy to get fat and heavy! If we don't treat the presence of God in our lives as a superstition, maybe we will win more battles.

Bow the Knee to the One True God

Whilst in Philistine territory, the Ark knocked the idol Dagon off his perch and rendered him headless and armless.

In the presence of the One True God, the idols are headless and armless; that means they cannot think and they cannot do anything! Hallelujah! Do we, the Church, live as though the enemy had no power over us?

How could the Philistines see what happened when they had the Ark (see 1 Samuel 5) and not just bow down and say that the Israelite God was the Sovereign Lord? What is it that stops people from wanting to be a part of the family of the only true God? How many people today have seen the work of our amazing God but refuse to bow the knee to Him? How tragic! There was sickness and oppression in the camp where God lived but He was not worshiped.

Do We Have the Holy Fear of the Lord?

In 1 Samuel 6 we read of the return of the Ark to it's proper people; what rejoicing there was that day. And what rejoicing there will be in our churches when the Glory returns. But the rejoicing was short lived because of the deaths of those who got too close, who took liberties that were not theirs.

This verse (v. 19) scares me, and I see too many people who are too familiar with God. Yes, Jesus is our Friend, our Husband, but He is also the King of kings and Lord of lords, and we must never forget that. He is the Holy God and we must worship Him as such. There has to be a holy fear of our God who is an all-consuming fire (see Hebrews 12:29).

What Do We Turn to for Security?

1 Samuel, chapter 7, begins with the purifying of Israel and God's people throwing away their idols, so that He could bring them victory. Is it time for us, the Church, to throw away our idols and become the holy people that He has been waiting for?

Please, please do not imagine for a moment that I am talking about churches with statues. God is speaking to me about idols in my life. Remember, I am the Church, and you are the Church. What are our idols? Whatever we turn to for security. Whoever you turn to when things go wrong. Whatever we talk about and think about the most: family, position, sports, finance, health, food, our own particular church or denomination, our pastor, our jobs, the lies we believe.

Even the Bible can become an idol. Many people read it and can quote it, but don't obey what it says. They continue to read it daily as a religious exercise, almost as a superstition. We think we are safe because we have done that. That's what the Israelites thought when they took the Ark into battle with them! It didn't work because they had not gotten rid of the idols! They were taking God for granted. Do we?

Stop Just Going to Church and Start Being the Church

The Lord told me that the enemy had captured the Church. If we think about it, we can see it, can't we? We don't think or act like the early disciples did. Do we do much more than Jesus did, as He suggested?
John 14:12 I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in Me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

Do we have the love of Jesus, the water of life, flowing from our innermost being?

John 7:38 Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him."

The enemy has persuaded most of the Church that these things are not for today. He has given all of us a fear of man (which is really submission to the enemy), and he has told us that we will get sick, that we don't have supernatural power.

When I was touring the U.S. last year, the Lord gave me a message that basically said, "Stop just going to church and start being the Church."
Many Believers do not even go to church because they are hurt or offended by someone or something in the past. These things are a stumbling block to us and to others and need to be dealt with. St. Paul urges us not to stop meeting together!

Hebrews 10:25 Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Many people believe "the Day is approaching," and it is time to be obedient to everything the Lord is saying. When we are obedient, we will see the victory that the Israelites saw in 1 Samuel 7:10: "While Samuel was sacrificing the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to engage Israel in battle. But that day the LORD thundered with loud thunder against the Philistines and threw them into such a panic that they were routed before the Israelites."

When the Lord thunders, the enemy panics! But then so do we if we have not been fully obedient. What happened was that God's people had fasted and repented, and then God did what was necessary. He won the battle for them. Hallelujah!

When the Glory of the Lord Appears, Where Will We Be?

I believe this whole story is a message for God's people today. Many words are coming forth about the Glory returning to the Church, and we rejoice, but we must have that holy fear, too. A verse from our story reminds us of that:

"Who can stand in the presence of the LORD, this holy God?" (1 Samuel 6:20).

Maybe it is time to remember the words of Ezra and of Malachi.
Ezra 9:15 O LORD, God of Israel, You are righteous! We are left this day as a remnant. Here we are before You in our guilt, though because of it not one of us can stand in Your presence."

Malachi 3:2 But who can endure the day of His coming? Who can stand when He appears? For He will be like a refiner's fire or a launderer's soap.
When the glory appears and the Lord reclaims His Church, where will I be? Where will you be? Will I be rejoicing and know without any doubt that I have done what He has asked me to do? I hope so.

When the Lord reclaims His Church, where will my neighbors be? Alive or dead? That is my responsibility. I know that we are not all called to be evangelists, but we are all called to pray continually (see 1 Thessalonians 5:17). Do I do that? Do you? When we are in a grocery store, at the checkout, in a traffic jam, on the bus, walking in the park, are we praying for those we can see? If I don't pray for my butcher, baker, bank clerk, taxi driver, cinema manager, then who will?

I know there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (see Romans 8:1), and I don't want to be a killjoy, but I do believe it is time for much of the Church, that's you and me, to repent of lethargy, to repent of allowing the enemy to rule over us for so long, to allow the Holy Spirit to stir the flame, and to become what Jesus wants.

He wants His Church back a beautiful Bride full of passion for her coming Husband. The Church is me, the Church is you, the Church is wherever two or three are gathered in His name. Let's become that beautiful Bride together.

Bob Hartley: God of Hope Who Keeps His Promises

The Promise Keeper Face of God

In recent encounters, I find myself seated at the Counsel Table of the Lord with various leaders from the Body of Christ. The Lord begins to share His heart regarding the challenges and the advancement in 2011. He speaks of the hope-filled 2012 that He is walking us into. In this place He reveals His face as the Promise Keeper to me, proclaiming that this is the face, the part of His nature that He desires to reveal to the Body of Christ in 2012. He stands at His table, calling us to press through to engage Him as God, to believe in Him again as the God of all life, to believe both His heart and His strength to accomplish the hope-filled promises that He has spoken over our lives this year.

Looking Back at 2011 Together

He begins to tenderly look back at 2011 with us, speaking about how 2011 was a year of great challenge. It was a year of transition where arrows to the mind and perplexities created a high level of exhaustion in us all. It was a year of transition that required unique hope. Isaiah 58:11 speaks of this transition of unique hope and divine guidance in the midst of perplexities.
Isaiah 58:11 The Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

We felt this across the Body of Christ. We felt sun scorched, like burnt living stones in many ways, but despite our experience of challenge and perplexity, the Lord reassured us that there was GREAT ADVANCEMENT in 2011!

The Deeper Revealing of the Promise Keeper Face of God

When we look deeper at this Promise Keeper face of God that He is making known to us in 2012, we see that it is a face of patriarchal love. This is not a face that is stern or harsh or full of expectations we can never fulfill. This is the face of patriarchal love that we see in Luke 15 where the father loves the son more than the wounds of his own soul. The Luke 15 father loves his son so much that he doesn't just receive him back, he doesn't greet him with eyes of disappointment or words of correction, when he sees him "far off" he runs to embrace him and meets him with eyes of love. This is the heart and face of the Promise Keeper God.

An Inheritance of Hope

As the Patriarchal God of Hope, He gives us an inheritance of hope and promises over our lives, and however we treat them and Him, He will remain the love-filled Luke 15 father in our lives. We can know that despite all failings and weakness, if we return to Him, He will always run to receive us back into His arms with eyes full, not of disappointment, but of love for us. The Promise Keeper has bound Himself to us in FAITH, HOPE, and LOVE above all else, and He has the strength to keep His hope-filled promises even when our strength fails. It is not our strength that secures the promises...it is HIS!

He is the Promise and the Promise Keeper

In Proverbs 13:12 it says, "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life." When we truly see His face as the Promise Keeper, the deep love in His eyes as He proclaims and keeps His hope-filled promises, then we will have our tree of life. The Promise Keeper Himself is our hope, our promise, and our great reward.

Receiving Our Inheritance

When we are secured in His love, when we are fixed on His face, then we will not easily give away our inheritance for convenience or the day's bread like Esau did. We will be like the 2 Kings 4 woman who pursued the return of her inheritance, her son, from God through the prophet Elijah. She believed in the God of the trump card, the God who, when it seems like all the aces are stacked up against us steps in with the trump card, the thing we can't see, and takes the day for us. When we know this face of God we will, like Abraham, receive our inheritance through faith. Abraham knew God as the Promise Keeper, so much so that he believed God would keep His promise, even if it meant resurrecting that promise, his son, from the dead. Abraham knew the face and heart of the Promise Keeper, Himself, the Promise Keeper who would later give everything in His own Son, to keep His promises to those He loved.

Wise Counsel from the Lord for 2012

The Promise Keeper God now speaks wise counsel to us, showing us how we might walk this out in 2012. He speaks of "double adoration" where we focus on His face as the Promise Keeper, and on His heart as the Patriarchal God of Hope. He speaks of "acceleration by association," where we walk into the promises together. He speaks of 2012 as a year of communities of hope, healthy hope centers where people are encouraged by living close to one another in true community.

"You can have a mandate, but not an agenda in 2012," He says. In 2012 we are not to operate out of a Nimrod spirit, which extends our own platform and agenda. The Lord says, "My way is not the CEO way where you build more and more divisions and try to control it while building your own name vs. My name."

In John 7:18 it says, "He who speaks of himself seeks his own glory..." In 2012 we are to build not upon who we are but upon who Jesus really is, and we are to focus on building other people's houses this year. This year there will be kings that help other kings, giving preference to the vision of another. It is the Jonathan and David spirit coming alive on the Earth. The Lord also says, regarding disagreements over doctrines, "Don't worry about it, it will all be clear very soon," meaning who's right and who's not. As we put aside our differences and come together at the table of the Lord, we will be strengthened and there will be a revamping of the seven mountains and arenas of influence in society.

The Promise of Isaiah 58:12

In 2012 we will see the Isaiah 58:12 ancient ruins, which is the knowledge of God, restored. He has shown me that the ancient ruins of Isaiah 58:12 are God, not that He has been ruined, but rather that our perceptions of Him have been ruined. The word "ruins" literally means "drought." We have been in a sun-scorched land without the true knowledge of Him. God wants to remove the drought, to clear away these ruins of the misunderstanding of His nature that create doubt and unbelief.

This Isaiah 58:12 "rebuilding the ancient ruins" is rebuilding the knowledge of God on another level, where adoration is established. The Hope Reformation is a restoration and rebuilding of the true knowledge of God in our day. In 2012 He is revealing Himself again as the Promise Keeper with the heart of the Patriarchal father of Luke 15; for when we truly know that we are a son or daughter, we will not become a slave to anything. The Promise Keeper face of God and the other faces of God that have been forgotten through the generations WILL BE RESTORED once again.

The Age of Restoration

The Body of Christ coming to know His Promise Keeper face will usher in an age of restoration where there will be houses like Bethel, houses of God where the gates of Heaven are open and you can see into other dimensions. There will be a restoration of lost inheritances in this time. The "poorest of the poor" will be remembered. The oppressed of Leviticus 26:12-13 will be set free in every way. Part of this transition to freedom is the new hope-filled operating system based in rest that He has given us for 2012. In this, He is showing us how to enter into His promises in rest vs. striving.

Advancing Through the Door of Hope Together

In 2012 we will advance through the "door of hope" together! We will raise up the "age old foundations" as we decree hope together, for to decree is literally to "raise up!" We will remember the hopes and promises fulfilled in 2011, both in Him as our "great reward," and in our lives! We will remember all the faces of Himself that He has revealed to us again and again, of His face as the Builder, Supplier, Redeemer, and Wise God in our lives! We will remember that we have encountered Him again and again as the Patriarchal God of Hope who sees a long way out for us and who speaks hope over our lives as a Patriarchal Father, who teaches us how to live, not as orphans, but as sons and daughters every day! As we remember these things together, we are raising up the "age old foundations." Rising up to decree these hopes and promises together is bringing forth the commanded blessings for 2012!

The Call: Decreeing His Heart of Hope Together

The Lord is calling us to stop and appreciate this season that He is taking us into in 2012. He is calling us to stop and focus on His face, the face of the Promise Keeper. He has been underestimated and misperceived and He wants us to take time to see what He is doing instead of what He isn't doing. We do this by remembering the hopes and promises that He has already fulfilled in our lives. We do this by stepping forth together to decree the hope that is to come for us in 2012: the promises of Isaiah 58:12, the building of healthy hope centers across the Earth, and the transformation of the seven mountains of influence in society. From a place of rest, take time, with us, to pray as we enter into this new season. See that He is the Promise Keeper and Patriarchal Father of Luke 15 and decree the promises yet to be fulfilled as you look into His heart.

Bob and Bonnie Jones: God is Going to Shake the Devil Out of the Church

A few days ago the Lord began to deal with me on a thing.

The angel of this nation is called "Unity," or "Union." If you study George Washington's prophecy, you see that this is the angel that appeared to him in his darkest hour. And there were some miraculous things that took place with George Washington. His enemies in battle began to believe that he couldn't be killed because they would shoot at him, they would shoot the horses out from underneath him, everything else, but he had a Divine hand on him. I believe that Divine hand is coming again to America, and America is being called to come into a union. There is coming a civil war in the Church, and each and every one of you are going to have a civil war inside of you. It is going to be the gray matter, the rebel, against the blue, the revelation of the Son of Heaven. We have tried to bring a unity in our minds for a few hundred years in America. There has not been any unity. There can only be a unity when we become united in the Spirit.

A "Gold Mind"

If anybody says something in church that offends you, you are going to blow them off, but God is calling for the mind to become a gold mind, and being offended is not a thing that is an option to you. A gold mind is going to have what a person needs when they need it.

A gold mind is a mind that has settled their affection on things above, not on things on the earth (see Colossians 3:2); so our soul (mind) has enslaved our spirit, but it was never meant to be that way. You don't worship the Lord in your soul, you worship Him in spirit and in truth. So, you are going to have to worship Him in the spirit to get the truth. We have been trying to do it here (mind), when this (mind) should be our servant and this (spirit) should be the master, for the revelation gifts are in every one of your spirits.

The soul has been the master too long, and the rebel is in the soul, and the rebellion, and the gray matter. You are not going to be able to figure out what to do in the future. You are not going to get the answers you need in your mind. The answer is in you, but it is in your "spirit man." The "spirit man" is the same in men and women alike; the spirit of a woman is a "spirit man." And this is what He is beginning to heal, that you would literally become love slaves, that the mind would become a love slave to the Spirit of God that's within you. Every one of you, when you were born, a piece of God the Father came out at your conception. When you were conceived you were conceived to live forever, and you are going to live forever someplace, and you determine where you are going to live.

Healings and the Word of Wisdom

When that seed in you gets ready to break forth is when you begin to seek Christ. You will seek Him first in the written Word, but it is time now that we go on; the Word is there, but let the Spirit of God come into us so the Holy Spirit can reveal to our spirit the future. And then when this (mind) becomes the love slave, it does only that which you hear here (spirit). And when you use the name of Jesus you hear it here (spirit), and when you bring the word of knowledge, then there will be tremendous release of healings.

We are on the verge of awesome healings, but there is something that is greater than healings. The word of knowledge is really good, it is not going to stop, but we are getting ready for the word of wisdom. The word of wisdom will come to not only prepare you for the future and tell you the future, but it will tell you how to avoid needing to be healed. The wisdom of God is getting ready to be released, and you will know what decisions to make for the future, what you should be saving and what you shouldn't, where you should be. So, He is looking for a person (people) that will let the word of wisdom come and dwell here (spirit). I have seen very little of the word of wisdom; I have seen it but a few times. But we are getting ready for it to be released. With that, there will not only be the miraculous healings, there will be the miracles. I've seen strokes and things like that healed, but with the word of wisdom you know how to stay healed. You know what decisions to make for tomorrow.

An Army in Unity

There is a remnant of people who are getting ready to come forth like love slaves. Their ear will be tuned to the Master. One of the things God was dealing with me on this morning was How much do you want to pray in the Spirit? We pray in understanding a lot, don't we? But praying in the Spirit is where you hear. Paul was a brilliant man and, you know, he prayed in the spirit more than anybody else. He didn't get it in his mind, he got it here (spirit).

So, the civil war is getting ready to start, and we are getting ready for it; the gray has got to surrender to the blue. This gray matter, you think you've got a thing figured out, but you don't. You are going to have to "faith it out," and you only faith it out right down here (spirit). Faith is coming forth. So, every one of you are going to have a civil war within here (spirit). You are going to have to determine, Am I going to figure it out? Well, I am telling you, you are not. Should I buy gold? Should I buy silver? Should I buy food? That's all gray matter. It isn't going to work. But, when you pray and you hear something here (spirit), do that. That is going to work.

Well, this time I'm going to put on the blue, and so are you if you are going to go anyplace. And when you put on the blue, you become an army – an army in unity. Do you have any idea what an army in unity can do? You know, there are principalities and powers throughout the dominion, demonic that are reigning over this town. You know what an army of blue would do? We'd pull down that principality. One of you can't do it, a hundred of you can't do it, a thousand of you can't do it, but several churches joining together in unity can take down the enemy. He is calling for us to become an army that stays in step with one another, that doesn't go AWOL or get out of step, marching together in unity – and that's going to be by the Spirit. The word of knowledge and the word of wisdom are getting ready to come into each and every one of your spirits.

When a man like me brings a word, you ought to know whether it is the Lord or not because you already are getting it for yourself. One thing that I have noticed that Bonnie and I are doing lately, when we are bringing the revelation, it is only bringing a confirmation of what people already have, and then we can become in agreement with one another. And that's what He said, that we would become in agreement with one another – an army that marches by revelation, revelation of the Son of Heaven.

You are getting ready for the created like you have never seen before. I believe I have seen created body parts on the inside, but I have never seen one on the outside. I believe the reason He did that is because people weren't ready for it. But I think that there is a hunger and a thirst for people now for the real thing. And when what's in the Father's heart is in the Holy Spirit's heart, and the Holy Spirit is right there in your spirit, your spirit is your conscience, and when your conscience feels something and reveals it to your mind, your mind's job is to proclaim it and speak it into existence.

Wisdom Has Come to Kiss Her Children

This is in Isaiah 48:6-7: It will be called into being by the word of prophecy. I believe that we have come to an end of religion, three days ago on Rosh Hashanah, and the beginning of Christianity.

Isaiah 48:6-7 You have heard [these things foretold], now you see this fulfillment. And will you not bear witness to it? I show you specified new things from this time forth, even hidden things [kept in reserve] which you have not known. They are created now [called into being by the prophetic word], and not long ago; and before today you have never heard of them, lest you should say, "Behold, I knew them!"

I believe wisdom is going to justify her children, and she is looking for her children to step forth; and what she speaks in here (spirit), with their soul they will proclaim it and bring it into being. We have come to end of one time and the beginning of the next. I believe the Lord has been preparing us in a strong way for the last three years. This is the year of the man, 2012. This is the year that godly wisdom is returning to the Body of Christ, which works by the fear of the Lord returning. I believe that we have come to that place of realizing that we don't know anything, and when we use the name of Jesus and we use it from here (spirit), there is not any demonic force that can stop it; you can literally tear the gates off of a town.

I believe that there is a remnant that He is calling forth. I don't believe they are very mature yet, but they are going to change. The change is taking place, and there has been a preparation in the last three years. I am afraid that a lot of heresy has entered into the Body of Christ and the truth is getting ready to reveal it. I mean, I see all kinds of heresy, like, "God don't heal anymore," and all this other kind of stuff. We are getting ready to find out what God does do. We have been seeing what He doesn't do. We are getting ready, through His wisdom, to find out what He is going to do and who is He going to do it through. If He was going to do it Himself, He'd already have done it. He is going to do it through you if you become that servant, that slave, and you spend that time in the Spirit, and you hear what He is saying in the Spirit, and you worship Him in the Spirit; and as you worship Him in the Spirit, it creates a truth in you. We are getting ready for the truth.

Bonnie was given the 85th Psalm the other day. Truth is going to rise up from the earth and righteousness is going to come down and kiss it. And I'm telling you, wisdom has come to kiss her children and to justify them. I would put it this way: You haven't seen anything yet. Where two of these come together in agreement, here the Lord is in your midst to accomplish what you are praying. I believe we are getting ready to honor the Father on a level like never before. For that's what the Father seeks – those that will grow up and begin to look like His Son. His Son did nothing but what He saw the Father do. That's what He is calling you to do; if you would do nothing but what you saw the Father do, then you would do all things.

God's Government is Coming Up

Get ready, because in the last few years in the Shepherd's Rod, the beginning was the ox, which was the servant, the sacrifice; the year after that, 2009 and 2010, was the year of the eagle, which was revelation; we have just come through the year of the lion authority; now, get ready for the man to take all of these and begin to walk it out over the earth. So, 2012 is the year the man comes forth, and we need to begin to ask for the nations. Ask in the spirit, because the Holy Spirit is going to release people to go to nations you never thought you would be receiving.

The remnant is coming forth. First, it is just going to be a remnant. It is going to be Isaiah 11:11 again, and He has been speaking this to us since 1999: A remnant coming forth. Well, a remnant is going to be a guide for the rest of the Body of Christ. Once you begin to walk that Spirit trail and you begin to obey the things of God, instead of there being one Jesus down here, there will be thousands, and they will be called to do the things that He did, and they will only be called to do that which they hear here (spirit), and have trained their mind to proclaim it. Now, you still need to train the mind, for a slave needs to know how to please the master. So, there is a real need to get into the Word and to know the Word. But it is still law until you hear from the Spirit, so the religious spirit, which is legalism, opinion, debate, judgment, and criticism, is coming down and in its place will be apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers.

God's government is coming up, and this is the year it begins. This is going to be a year of the best of times for those who walk this way; the worst of the times is trying to figure out what to do. You don't have to figure out anything. You are not going to be able to. He is waiting for sons and daughters to talk to Him so He can reveal the future to you. One of the first things He will tell you is, "Quit looking back, you don't have any past." Look to today and tomorrow. Rejoice in your past that has got you where you are today, but look to what He says for you to do today.

If He is not telling you to do anything, then you've got a day off. But if He begins to impress you to do some things, then be quick to hear and quick to obey as a slave would to a master. I will tell you something about this love slave. You know who the closest to the master is? The love slave. He is right there next to him. The love slave sometimes is just watching the master's eyes and the master's eyes will tell him exactly what to do. The master's hands will tell him what to do. He can feel what's in the master's heart and he goes and does it.

It is the time that we begin to move in the Holy Spirit of God. It is time that we learn from the Apostle Paul, probably the most brilliant man in Scripture; but he couldn't do it on his own, he had to go into the desert and lose his mind to find it. We are getting ready for our minds to be blown and become a gold mine. Once you become a gold mine, whatever is needed, whatever counsel there is in you – really, the Holy Spirit is in you. How many gifts are in Him? The same amount of gifts that are in Him, when you received Him, are in you. So, if you are going to ask for gifts, ask for all of them. But, right now what we need the most is the word of wisdom. And it is going to come, it is already coming.

And the signs and the wonders... I saw some things recently. There is a great joy in Heaven right now, because the Father has whispered a thing into the Son's ear, and Jesus doesn't keep secrets. You may not understand that, but He doesn't keep secrets. He has told everybody in Heaven what is getting ready to happen, and Heaven is getting ready to touch Earth, and He has told them, "I am getting ready to do some of the greatest healings you have ever seen. I'm getting ready to release the word of knowledge in a way you have never seen before. But I am also getting ready to release the word of wisdom to where you don't get sick anymore, to where you know what to do, to where you know where to do it."

Wisdom is on her way. I believe it has started. Come back to Him in the Spirit. Come back and let the Holy Spirit speak into your "spirit man." Let the Holy Spirit reveal into your conscience where you are missing God. One of the next things I believe is getting ready to take place is repentance on a scale like you have never known before; and it is going to be the very best that is going to be the repenting, because we have been letting the "gray" reign over the "blue." We are going to need to give up the authority of the gray and let the Holy Spirit become the Lord that reveals this, because He is part of the Lord. He is the only God down here, and that is what He is calling us to: that we would come and begin to obey Him. You don't lose any battles then, and you are sure not going to lose any war.

The Harvest Begins

I believe we are in a key time in history, and this preparation of the man going forth is the beginning of the harvest. I believe that this is the year that the harvest begins, and I don't know to what extent, but I do know this: It is going to really escalate by the year 2015, and I know that what He is talking about in this one harvest, He is talking about over a billion youth getting ready to come in. They will only come in to where wisdom dwells.

Wisdom is looking for a place to move in down here now, and she is coming down here to take over the Father's business; and where Wisdom is reigning over the Father's business, we are talking big numbers, and we are also talking about going worldwide. So, this is the year that our feet should be prepared and shod with the preparation of the Gospel, that the Holy Spirit would direct our feet into the places He wants us to walk and would begin to reveal the true hope to people that have none.

Brokenness without understanding brings hopelessness. Brokenness with understanding brings hopefulness. So, what I am trying to say to you, get ready to get broken here (mind), that the mind surrenders and obeys what the Holy Spirit is saying for you to do in here (spirit); and it is going to bring a fullness, and those out there that don't have hope, they don't realize it, but you are their hope. The mind without an anchor in these coming days is going to be insanity, but the mind with an anchor of hope is like a ship that goes out to sea when a hurricane is coming. They let that anchor down and the anchor just lifts it up and down over the waves. But if it stays ashore, then the hurricane will just take it and destroy it – and there are all kinds of perfect storms headed our way.

They have been telling you that it is all over. Well, it is not all over. The shaking is yet to come, and what He wants to do is shake the devil out of the Church to where the Holy Spirit reigns over it, and when the Holy Spirit reigns over you there is not going to be anything to reach out and grab you because that wisdom is going to have you in a place of protection and a place of hope. Hope is a confident expectation in God that will not be let loose. The anchor will hold, so we need to anchor our soul, tie it down, and really let our "spirit man" go, our conscience, and let the Holy Spirit reveal the heart of the Father in us, and we need to go forth shedding the love of God, shed it abroad into people's hearts.

Get Ready for What You Have Waited For

So, it is a different season. I have known for many years that 2012 was a time to live for. So, you in the Church, get ready for what you have waited for. For you it is the best of times. You are not going to starve. I mean, Scripture says that! You are not going to be blown away. It is a time of brokenness. So, what's going on first is the Church is going to come into a time of brokenness so it can be brought into a time of fullness. Get ready for the fullness to begin this year. Seek Wisdom, knock on her door and you will find her. It begins with being awed by God, or the fear of the Lord, or better – let's say you let your conscience tell you what to do. Your conscience does guide you. It is the part of the Father's heart that is in you, and you know when you are doing right and you know when you are doing wrong. So, repent for what you have done wrong so that you can do what's right. Get ready to be led by and worship the Father in spirit and in truth, and subdue the gray matter to slavery and the blue to the Master.

So, I believe we are in a very, very key time now, and it is the time that we seek Him; so if there is anything I would say to you, seek Him. Find out what He wants you to do. Don't let men tell you what to do, let the Holy Spirit of God tell you what to do; and the first thing He will tell you is worship Him, His Spirit, so that He can reveal the truth to you. And truth will be your guide. So, we are in a very key time, but I think we are in one of the greatest seasons that has ever been. Some are going to shake that don't know Christ, but you that do know Him, you are going to be shaking to where you can come right to Him.

Kathi Pelton: "Servants of the Most High God, Come Out!"

Kathi PeltonNebuchadnezzar then approached the opening of the blazing furnace and shouted, "Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!"

So Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego came out of the fire, and the satraps, prefects, governors and royal advisers crowded around them. They saw that the fire had not harmed their bodies, nor was a hair of their heads singed; their robes were not scorched, and there was no smell of fire on them. Daniel 3:26-27

Do you feel as though you have been in a fiery furnace? Does it feel as though you, your family, your career, your ministry and even your relationships have gone through "trials by fire"? Many of us have, but I am hearing the Spirit of the Lord say: "Servants of the Most High God, come out! Come here!"

Many of you will have heard the Spirit of the Lord speaking these words to you (in one form or another) prior to reading this. If so, I want to confirm to you: Yes, you have heard correctly! Some were in this furnace time for a short time; others of you have been in it much longer. Either way, I believe that from the view of Heaven you are counted as one of the "Faithful Ones" such as Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.

The Sacred

Over the past few years I have watched faithful men and women go through circumstances and trials that I never imagined they could survive, yet still come out without being scorched, not smelling of the fire they had endured.

You may remember me sharing about dear friends who lost three out of their four children. I wrote that all we could do was to hold them and be available to love them and pray. I remember keenly standing with them right after their youngest son was taken. His mom stroked his hair while weeping and yet at the very same time she repeated again and again, "God, You are faithful, true and good in all Your ways... no matter what!" It was the most sacred moment I have ever experienced in the midst of such great loss. Jesus was there in the furnace of that hospital room, and though agonizing pain was present, He was all the more present. Yet, today neither this mom nor this dad smell of the fire of loss or bitterness; they radiate the beauty of the Lord.

Many of us have experienced having the most sacred things touched and even taken over this past season. These were things that we were confident would not be lost, but our confidence needed to be in His faithfulness, not in what He would or would not allow. Many who faced such things have come out of these times without the smell of the furnace upon them, but rather with His fragrance upon them, still declaring, "You are faithful, God!" Please know that if this is you, then you have entered into some of the highest praise that can be offered. This time – and your trial – have given you new authority and deeper intimacy with Him.

Transition into the New

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. Proverbs 13:12

As 2012 approached, I kept sensing the Spirit of the Lord saying, "This is a year of desires (longings) fulfilled." I believe that during this time of so many being in the furnace, what has been produced is that our desires have shifted to be aligned with His desires. This needed to happen so that we were properly aligned with His heart and His will in the days to come.
God will heal all those who have experienced having their hearts sick with the burden of hope deferred! Your fulfilled longing will have the fruit of life upon it. Allowing yourself to be continually realigned with the truth of His faithfulness, even in the midst of loss and pain, has made you into a fruitful tree of life and hope that will be enjoyed by many in the years to come.
It is now time to transition from the furnace into this new position of authority and freedom that He is calling you to. You will never be the same, and the authority "earned" during this past season will cause you to walk in new arenas that you could not have prior to this experience.

He is Faithful

The LORD is trustworthy in all He promises and faithful in all He does. The LORD upholds all who fall and lifts up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food at the proper time. You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.

The LORD is righteous in all His ways and faithful in all He does. The LORD is near to all who call on Him, to all who call on Him in truth. He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and saves them. The LORD watches over all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy.
My mouth will speak in praise of the LORD. Let every creature praise His holy name forever and ever. Psalm 145:13-21

As I transition into the new year of 2012, I will continually declare His faithfulness. Commit with me to wake up each day and say the words, "You are faithful, God!" May our mouths speak praise to Him throughout each day. This is truth and it needs to permeate the atmosphere in our homes, our churches, our places of business, and in our cities and nations. OUR GOD IS FAITHFUL FROM GENERATION TO GENERATION.

They said had run the light
That caused the six-car pileup
On 109 that night.

When broken bodies lay about

For death was in the air.

"A mother, trapped inside her car,"

Her plaintive plea near split the air:

Jesus' Death - 60 seconds to understand

60 seconds with God...

For the next 60 seconds, set aside whatever you're doing and take this opportunity! Let's see if Satan can stop this.



THE (SCIENTIFIC) DEATH OF JESUS

At the age of 33, Jesus was condemned to the death penalty.

At the time crucifixion was the "worst" death. Only the worst criminals condemned to be crucified. Yet it was even more dreadful for Jesus, unlike other criminals condemned to death by crucifixion, Jesus was to be nailed to the stake by His hands and feet.

Each nail was 6 to 8 inches long.

The nails were driven into His wrist. Not into His palms as is commonly portrayed. There's a tendon in the wrist that extends to the shoulder. The Roman guards knew that when the nails were being hammered into the wrist, that tendon would tear and break, forcing Jesus to use His back muscles to support himself so that He could breathe.


Both of His feet were nailed together. Thus He was forced to support Himself on the single nail that impaled His feet to the cross. Jesus could not support himself with His legs because of the pain, so He was forced to alternate between arching His back then using his legs just to continue to breathe. Imagine the struggle, the pain, the suffering, the courage.


Jesus endured this reality for over 3 hours.

Yes, over 3 hours!

Can you imagine this kind of suffering? A few minutes before He died, Jesus stopped bleeding. He was simply pouring water from his wounds.


From common images, we see wounds to His hands and feet and even the spear wound to His side... But do we realize His wounds were actually made in his body. A hammer driving large nails through the wrist, the feet overlapped and an even large nail hammered through the arches, then a Roman guard piercing His side with a spear.

But before the nails and the spear, Jesus was whipped and beaten. The whipping was so severe that it tore the flesh from His body. The beating so horrific that His face was torn and his beard ripped from His face. The crown of thorns cut deeply into His scalp. Most men would not have survived this torture.


He had no more blood to bleed out, only water poured from His wounds. The human adult body contains about 3.5 liters (just less than a gallon) of blood.


Jesus poured all 3.5 liters of his blood; He had three nails hammered into His members; a crown of thorns on His head and, beyond that, a Roman soldier who stabbed a spear into His chest.


All these without mentioning the humiliation He passed after carrying His own stake for almost 2 kilometers, while the crowd spat in his face and threw stones (the cross was almost 30 kg of weight, 60+ pounds)


Jesus had to endure this experience, so that we can have free access to God.

So that our sins could be "washed" away. All of them, with no exception!


JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR US!


He died for us! It is easy to pass jokes and false witness statements by e-mail, but when it comes to God, sometimes we feel ashamed to forward to others because we are worried of what they may think about us.

Kathie Walters: The Swift Angels Are Here

About a month ago, I thought I was seeing things! When I looked at certain people I would see these small birds swirling above their heads – they were Swifts. No one told me that, but I knew in my spirit that that is what they were. There are things I don't know about Swifts, but I do know they can fly very fast (up to 70mph and more) and fly high and never touch the ground voluntarily.

They sleep on the wing, eat and drink on the wing, and even mate on the wing. They don't come to nest on the earth and almost always nest in buildings. On a side note, the most famous and oldest nesting place is the Western Wall in Jerusalem. Last count there were 88 pairs of Swifts on the wall and circling over Jerusalem. They just recently came back and they return the same day every year.

Then I began to see Swift-like angels moving very quickly among people.

Always Be Available and Ready to Go

I am always talking about being available and ready to go. Along these lines, I tell people about the angel from New Zealand who is always in my meetings there. He came to my house and sang to me the entire song from Aladdin, "A Whole New World." The song starts out with an invitation. Aladdin says to the Princess Jasmine, "Do you trust me?" and he holds out his hand to her. He takes her on a carpet ride and she gets a whole new perspective on everything. I hope you will take the opportunity to listen to that song.

When the angel sang that song, He said to me, "Kathie, there is a whole new world for you if you will believe it and receive it." I accepted that and thought that was easy until ten minutes later a Pastor friend of mine in Singapore texted me and asked me to "Come and help train some pastors." "No problem," I thought, as I love Singapore. I texted a reply, "I will be there." Five minutes later he texted back and said, "Oh, I'm not in Singapore. I'm in Siberia." I was a bit alarmed when I heard that and really hoped he would forget all about it. But six months later I found myself in Siberia!

Siberia was very oppressive, but a Siberian angel got on the plane when it pulled into the gate and started to push myself and my friend DeAnn around the plane. He told us to "lighten up." We started to laugh hysterically. We couldn't stand up because he was pushing us around. The Siberian flight attendant came down the aisle and told us, "There is a light over you." "Oh great," we said, "it's from the church in the sky." He looked at us as we looked out of the window. "No, no," he said, "the church is in the sky not out of the window." We were drunk in the Spirit by then.

When we got inside the airport, it was even more oppressive. We tried to be quiet and behave "properly" as we didn't want to get arrested. But it didn't work. The angel started pushing us around again. "Lighten up," he said, and he started laughing.

My, my, we do have such religious concepts about angels, don't we?

We tried to straighten up, but he kept pushing us and we started laughing and laughing. We thought the security people were going to get annoyed, but guess what? They started laughing and getting drunk in the Spirit. The man couldn't stamp my passport because he was falling off the chair. The supervisor came running out to see what all the commotion was about. He touched my back as he squeezed past me and he began to get drunk in the Spirit, too.

We couldn't speak Russian and they couldn't speak English except to say "Passport" and "Visa," but after a while they were holding their hands to their mouths and pointing. There was an English guy standing there and I asked him if he knew what they were saying. "Yes," he said, "they are saying they can taste honey in their mouth."

The Lord spoke to me and said, "Yes, and the next time someone does witness to them about Jesus, they will have a good taste in their mouth." I knew that they would have the same taste of honey and would know it was a good and pleasant thing they were hearing.

Are You Ready?

Well, back to the swift angels. Are you ready to go? We all say yes, but for some people it's time to say "goodbye" and for others it's time to say "hello." Doors open and close. Windows of opportunity open, but we have to take those opportunities. It's time to take off. I have a feeling there are people reading this who have taken off before but somehow got "grounded." God is the Author of taking off. He enables you to fly, but we have to respond to His invitation.

See what God sees for you. He sees the whole picture...huge. It's amazing what you can do in only a week or two when the Holy Spirit is moving and the angels help you. The angels are very interested in helping you fulfill the purposes of God in your life. That's what their assignment is – YOU are their assignment.

Are you ready to fly? This is a bit different from the eagle anointing – it's an anointing to move swiftly – and high – and fast.

I have a good friend who says God always pushes him, but that's not true, really. God doesn't push you against your will. Sometimes our mindsets get in the way, but the heart really wants to embrace the purposes of God, so God sends angels to push us past our mindsets. A hungry heart will always push you past your mind in the end.

We only have one life to live down here, it might as well be an adventure. Better to make a few mistakes then never do anything. If you don't ever want to make a mistake, don't do anything – that's simple, isn't it?

Only Be Willing - God Is the One Who Is Able

A couple of years ago, some friends on the Gold Coast of Australia told me after a meeting, "We are going to take the next opportunity God gives us." So I asked, "Well, why don't you come with me to Hawaii?" "When are you going?" they enquired. "Tomorrow," I responded.

They weren't on the plane with me the next day, but a couple of days later they were in Hawaii. They helped me for a few days, and on Sunday they preached. Doors opened all over the place and they stayed and ministered in Hawaii for several months.

You just have to be willing and prepared to get ready swiftly. God is the One Who is able. It doesn't matter how old you are! Twenty or ninety. God is raising up an army of wild grandmas, remember.

Tennessee.

One morning, they were eating breakfast at a little restaurant, hoping to

Noticed a distinguished looking, white-haired man moving from table to
table, visiting with the guests. The professor leaned over and whispered to
His wife, 'I hope he doesn't come over here.' But sure enough, the man did
Come over to their table.

'Where are you folks from?' he asked in a friendly voice.

'Oklahoma,' they answered.

'Great to have you here in Tennessee,' the stranger said... 'What do you do
for a living?'

'I teach at a seminary,' he replied.

'Oh, so you teach preachers how to preach, do you? Well, I've got a really
great story for you.' And with that, the gentleman pulled up a chair and sat
down at the table with the couple.

The professor groaned and thought to himself, 'Great.. Just what I
Need.... Another preacher story!'

The man started, 'See that mountain over there? (Pointing out the restaurant
window). Not far from the base of that mountain, there was a boy born to an
unwed mother. He had a hard time growing up, because every place he went, he Was always asked the same question, 'Hey boy, who's your daddy?' Whether he was at school, in the grocery store or drug store, people would ask the same Question, 'Who's your daddy?'

He would hide at recess and lunch time from other students.. He would avoid
going in to stores because that question hurt him so bad. 'When he was about 12 years old, a new preacher came to his church. He would always go in late and slip out early to avoid hearing the question, 'Who's your daddy?'

But one day, the new preacher said the benediction so fast that he got
Caught and had to walk out with the crowd.

Just about the time he got to the back door, the new preacher, not knowing
Anything about him, put his hand on his shoulder and asked him, 'Son, who's Your daddy?'

The whole church got deathly quiet. He could feel every eye in the church was looking at him. Now everyone would finally know the answer to the question,
'Who's your daddy?'

This new preacher, though, sensed the situation around him and using
Discernment that only the Holy Spirit could give, said the following to that
Scared little boy.. 'Wait a minute! I know who you are! I see the family
Resemblance now, You are a child of God.'

With that he patted the boy on his shoulder and said, 'Boy, you've got a
Great inheritance.. Go and claim it.'

'With that, the boy smiled for the first time in a long time and walked out
the door a changed person. He was never the same again. Whenever anybody
Asked him, 'Who's your Daddy?' he'd just tell them, 'I'm a Child of God..''

The distinguished gentleman got up from the table and said, 'Isn't that a
great story?'

The professor responded that it really was a great story!

As the man turned to leave, he said, 'You know, if that new preacher hadn't
Told me that I was one of God's children, I probably never would have
amounted to anything!' And he walked away..

The seminary professor and his wife were stunned. He called the waitress
Over and asked her, 'Do you know who that man was -- the one who just left
That was sitting at our table?'

The waitress grinned and said, 'Of course. Everybody here knows him.

Victoria Boyson: A Glimpse of Heaven


Your heavenly Father is yearning to give you insight into what He has prepared for you, showing you more of the delights of your eternal life with Him in His home. Drawing you nearer to the reality of who you really are in Him.

My Journey

The Lord told me He had something He wanted to show me. I took His hand and suddenly I was in the spirit atop a great hill in Heaven. He was happy to be able show me His favored landscape and the hills of His home. It was all so breathtaking. You could stand in one spot and look for miles in all directions, enjoying the beautiful hills. He was pleased with my delight.
Then, we walked down the hill toward a grove of large trees. To my surprise, He showed me a tunnel formed by the trees that had grown there. They had grown intertwining together to form a tunnel that almost blocked out the light. It seemed endless and although we did not walk the distance of it, He told me it went all the way to the other side of the valley we were in.

As we exited the tunnel, I saw a small pond near the grove of trees. I asked the Lord if we could stop and look at the fish – there were very large gold fish that were absolutely beautiful. I asked if I could hold one and as He agreed, a large fish came up to where I stood at the edge and stared up at me as if it were offering itself to me like a kitten or dog wanting to be held. Picking it up, I pet its golden scales as it looked up at me.

The Lord was happy I enjoyed it so much and pointed out a turtle nearby. He scooped it up and handed it to me when I returned the fish. I held it and turned it over to touch its very smooth belly. Neither the turtle nor the fish were the least bit afraid of me and seemed to enjoy being held and petted. The animals seemed to accept me without fear or hesitation, as if their purpose, even their joy, was to be enjoyed.

While exploring the pond and all its wildlife, it suddenly started to rain. I knew that on Earth we needed rain, but wondered why it would need to rain in Heaven, so I asked Him.

He said, "We just like it because it's fun." Isn't that great?

What A Surprise

We walked around the base of a ravine and Jesus seemed excited to reveal a surprise He had in store for me. As we rounded the corner of the ravine, He smiled and said, "Look at that!" He was pointing to what seemed to be a brand new Model T Ford. It was a stunning convertible in burgundy-red with leather seats and wooden accents as new as if it were just made yesterday.

I was delighted and surprised and said, "You have cars in Heaven? Why, when you can transport by thought or desire?"

He smiled at me with His beautiful broad smile and said, "I just like it!"
He then took me for a ride and I had anticipated a drive through the beautiful landscapes of Heaven with my dearest Lord. But suddenly, He took off and we were flying in the air. We passed right over beautiful vibrant people and, as we flew over them, I waved at them and they waved and yelled back at me, "Hello, Victoria!"

As we flew, He told me to look in the back seat. When I turned to look, I saw a pile of huge opulent pearls about an inch in diameter. I picked up the biggest handful I could gather and just held them in my hands. They were so luminous and beautiful. He told me I could have as many as I liked.
Again, He told me to look in the back seat, but when I looked this time I saw the sweetest little kitten, so darling with little white feet. I asked Him, "What do you call it?"

"Socks" He said.

I snuggled with the kitten up to my face and I asked if I could have it and he laughed and said, "Well... you can hold it."

It was interesting to me that without my even asking, He gave me as many pearls as I wanted, but would not let me keep His kitten, He valued it so much.

We flew over several more canyons and beautiful ravines and saw wonderful places for countless adventures (you could not possibly get bored there). We saw people down in the ravines enjoying the landscape of Heaven. Again, they gave me a hearty wave and greeted me as if they knew me and loved me. Their greeting flooded my heart with such overwhelming acceptance, a very powerful acceptance that seemed to penetrate my spirit and affect my physical body.

He showed me the ocean and I saw all the people enjoying what seemed to me to be every kind of boat ever made. The vessels were all from different times in history, yet they all appeared to be brand new.

A Special Place

We ended our flight and I thought our visit was ending, but He wanted to show me one more place, a special place. We had to be very quiet as we climbed to the top of a hill where we could look down on a small creek running between the two smaller hills.

It was very beautiful, but I didn't understand why it was special. We sat upon the hill just out of sight. As the Lord sat beside me, we enjoyed watching children playing in the creek. It was then He told me that the young lady playing there was my sister.

Growing up, I had wanted a sister so bad that my mother and I would pretend that the baby she had miscarried before I was born was my sister. She even told me I could name her, so I named her Valerie. And here right before me, was that girl. She was beautiful. I was simply overwhelmed. I wanted to cry.

I saw a woman with her I knew was my mother, who had died in a car accident in 1984 with my younger brother. My emotions were tumbling together rolling on top of each other, I wasn't sure what to feel.
Valerie threw water at my mother and was playfully splashing her. Speaking of Valerie I said, "She's really ornery, isn't she?" "Yes, she is!" He said with obvious pride, "Yes, she's always been here. She's never known anything but freedom."

He smiled as my mom started to chase after my sister, but Valerie remained out of her reach and they laughed together. I thought of how much joy and acceptance they were now experiencing together. For them, there was no more rejection, just the most thorough acceptance you're able to imagine.

It was this tremendous feeling of acceptance which seemed to overwhelm me. It was evident even in the animals, who had no fear. The people in Heaven celebrated one another and each trusted in the knowledge they were not just tolerated, but were able to truly enjoy one another. Jesus was proud of this most of all, proud to show me the greatest treasure of His Kingdom- love. And what a glorious treasure it is!

When I emerged from the encounter with Him, bathed in the wondrous feeling of the acceptance I'd experienced there, I immediately called all my family to tell them of what I'd experienced. They too felt the love and acceptance that permeated Heaven.

Truly, the Lord is proud of His home and of the joy of every living creature there. He also delights in the joy you experience here on Earth. Satan is the enemy of this joy, but our adversary is not a match for the joy of the Lord because he cannot understand it. And Beloved, God wants us to experience this tremendous joy on Earth! It is the power of the Kingdom for which we battle to live each day in His love, to live each day in His acceptance. That is truly righteous living!

God wants us to contemplate our life with Him. It is not the "after-life" as so many on Earth believe. No, it is REAL LIFE! And it begins the moment you let Him in to your life!

In Biblical times, the Law of Moses (also called Old Testament Law, Mosaic Law, or just The Law) regulated almost every aspect of Jewish life.

By the time of Jesus, the great moral principles God had given to Moses in the Ten Commandments had been turned into hundreds of ceremonial rules. People thought they were living holy lives if they just obeyed all those rules. But many people found enough "loopholes" to obey all the rules and still live wicked and greedy lives (Matthew 23:23-28).

Jesus said that was not at all what God had intended. Jesus did not abolish the moral and ethical laws that had been in effect from the time of Moses (Matthew 5:17-18, Luke 16:16-17). He affirmed and expanded upon those principles, but He said obedience must be from the heart (attitudes and intentions) rather than just technical observance of the letter of the law (Matthew 5:21-22, 27-28, 31-32, 33-34, 38-42, 43-44, etc.).

In contrast to the "clean" and "unclean rules," Jesus said no food can defile a person. It is bad attitudes and actions that can make a person unholy (Matthew 15:1-20, Mark 7:1-23).

The teachings of Jesus, the Council of Jerusalem, and other New Testament teachings (John 1:16-17, Acts 13:39, Romans 2:25-29, 8:1-4, 1 Corinthians 9:19-21, Galatians 2:15-16, Ephesians 2:15) make it clear that Christians are not required to follow the Old Testament rules about crimes and punishments, warfare, slavery, diet, circumcision, sacrifice, feast days, Sabbath observance, ritual cleanness, etc.

You are very welcome. And I am an introvert in most public situations - however electronic forums give me a small measure of boldness that lets me express myself.

There are many people I have met in my life who try and use Scripture as either a reason or excuse for their behavior even when they honestly know what they are doing is not "right". And too many people pick and choose sound bites in order to make the text fit in with their argument at that moment. Usually because they do not know the entire verse or do not know the context of the verse. It is true that a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing.

My all time biggest pet peeve is with the misuse of Eph 5:22 "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord." Which is NOT a verse meant to subjugate women or justify making them less important in matters of faith. If you read the entire chapter St. Paul is talking about being subject to one another .. all of us. Eph 5:21 "Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ."

But if one did want to consider the passage as a treatise on marriage then they should continue reading - for the man has the harder command Eph 5:25-31

"25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her 26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless. 28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29 After all, no one ever hated their own body, but they feed and care for their body, just as Christ does the church— 30 for we are members of his body. 31 “For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh."

The Coming Move of God - May Not Be As You Think

A Move Like Niagara Falls

Several years ago, I was in a meeting in Orlando, FL. During the worship I was asking the Lord what to preach about and He told me "Romans 6 – you WERE crucified with Christ." Almost immediately I was taken up in the spirit and wasn't able to move in any way, and I couldn't even open my eyelids. I could hear the music of the pianist, and the next thing I felt was something swirling very strong all around my legs, just below my knees. Then I seemed to be standing in water, which was rushing and swirling around me. In front of me, about 1/8th of a mile away, was Niagara Falls. It was loud, roaring, and the water falling as you know, if you've visited there, was very intense. Thousands of tons of water per minute. I was being drawn toward it like a magnet, but inside I was trying to pull back.

"How would you like to get under that?" the Lord asked me. "Well I would die for sure," I replied. "Not if you're dead already," the Lord seemed to laugh. In fact, I saw Him and He tossed His head back and He did laugh, like a victory laugh. (Read Romans chapter 6, "As surely as we died with Christ, we believe we will also live with Him.")

I could hear my friend Joy Strang introduce me, but I was unable to respond. After a little while the anointing lifted and I was "unfrozen" and I ministered the word I had. I didn't think of it very often until we were in Rochester, NY a while ago. Bob Jones had prophesied several years ago that we would be involved in a move of the Spirit in Rochester among the young people. There was also a connection to Niagara Falls. There was a powerful move of God in Rochester, and there was an angel who came from Niagara Falls. There are 100 angels who are guarding that portal at Niagara – 100 represents God's elected grace.

While I was there in Rochester, I went up and visited Niagara. I remembered what the Lord had showed me about the Falls and how the move of the Spirit that was coming would be like Niagara. Smith Wigglesworth prayed that God would pour out His Spirit like that. Many people have had visions of Niagara being a type of the next and last great move of the Spirit.

The weekend after Rochester, I was home and had a whole day on Saturday to just wait on God. Sure enough in the morning the fire of God came and the presence of the Lord filled the room. I asked the Lord about this move – this Niagara move. The next thing was that I was suddenly standing in that water again, but this time it was MUCH CLOSER. It also wasn't scary because I remembered that the Lord had laughed the last time I had seen it. It seemed to be almost a matter of feet away this time.

I was expecting to go under it, but suddenly a chariot came down and scooped me up. I was taken up over the Falls and I could hear the sound of the water. As I looked down I saw the tremendous power of that water and felt the spray of it. The next thing I was in a meeting; I had been praying and people were standing in the front. The Presence of the Lord was great, the perfume of the Lord was all over as it is now as I type, and then the Lord released a new angel into my ministry. The angels are sent to minister to the heirs of salvation personally, and also they work in your ministry.

"What Does This Move Look Like?"

I kept asking the Lord, "What is it then? What does this move look like really?" Driving through Atlanta, He suddenly said, "It's called 'GREAT GRACE' – a revelation of the great grace and love of God."

He showed me that He will pour out His grace and love upon His Body, and it will wash away the religious concepts and bondages and spirits that rob God's children of a true revelation of the Father's great love. The lack of revelation of the grace and mercy and love of God makes God's people feel they don't qualify to receive their inheritance. The inheritance Jesus left us – the realm of the Spirit, the supernatural realm, the angels, and heavenly visitations – are meant to be a normal part of our lives.

He wants us to be so free of all the heaviness. "His yoke is easy and His burden is light and delightful, it is not hard and neither is it heavy" (Matthew 11:30, Greek NT).

He wants us full of His light and carried away by His love and His sweetness. He desires for us to be strong in the spirit, taking dominion over the powers of darkness, yet at the same time totally enamoured by His beauty. His desire is toward you, He loves you with a passionate and unchanging love. "He is going to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy," as Jude 1:24 says.

The last few months, the chariots of God have been coming into the meetings and taking people up in them and showing them what God is doing in other places, and giving them heavenly visitations. I have noticed the love of God getting stronger and stronger, as well as the perfumes of the Lord and the honey and oil and healing and deliverances.

The love of God washes away fear, bondage and sickness. It washes away condemnation, guilt and heartache. As from a popular hymn and song, "His love has no limit, His grace has no measure, His power has no boundaries known unto men, but out of His infinite riches in Jesus, He gives and gives and gives again."

Well friends, this Niagara move is drawing closer – let it fall over you and flow through you. When we get caught up in His marvelous presence all else fades away. Things that have consumed us get left behind in the amazing wonder of His loving kindness.

Niagara is coming – it is close, closer than you think, and you are being drawn by His love and His power. His Love will change you into His image, and you will sing and speak out and testify to His goodness.

Genesis 47:13-27

RECENT VIRGINIA CHURCH SERVICE - STIMULUS SERMON

Good morning, brothers and sisters; it's always a delight to see the pews crowded on Sunday morning, and so eager to get into God's Word. Turn with me in your Bibles, if you will, to the 47th chapter of Genesis. We'll begin our reading at verse 13, and go through verse 27.

Brother Ray, would you stand and read that great passage for us? ... (reading) ... Thank you for that fine reading, Brother Ray. So we see that economic hard times fell upon Egypt , and the people turned to the government of Pharaoh to deal with this for them. And Pharaoh nationalized the grain harvest, and placed the grain in great storehouses that he had built. So the people brought their money to Pharaoh, like a great tax increase, and gave it all to him willingly in return for grain. And this went on until their money ran out, and they were hungry again.

So when they went to Pharaoh after that, they brought their livestock - their cattle, their horses, their sheep, and their donkey - to barter for grain, and verse 17 says that only took them through the end of that year. But the famine wasn't over, was it? So the next year, the people came before Pharaoh and admitted they had nothing left, except their land and their own lives. "There is nothing left in the sight of my lord but our bodies and our land. Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for food, and we with our land will be servants to Pharaoh." So they surrendered their homes, their land, and their real estate to Pharaoh's government, and then sold themselves into slavery to him, in return for grain.

What can we learn from this, brothers and sisters?

That turning to the government instead of to God to be our provider in hard times only leads to slavery? Yes... That the only reason government wants to be our provider is to also become our master?

Yes. But look how that passage ends, brothers and sisters! Thus Israel settled in the land of Egypt , in the land of Goshen . And they gained possessions in it, and were fruitful and multiplied greatly." God provided for His people, just as He always has! They didn't end up giving all their possessions to government, no, it says they gained possessions! But I also tell you a great truth today, and an ominous one.

We see the same thing happening today - the government today wants to "share the wealth" once again, to take it from us and redistribute it back to us. It wants to take control of healthcare, just as it has taken control of education, and ration it back to us, and when government rations it, then government decides who gets it, and how much, and what kind. And if we go along with it, and do it willingly, then we will wind up no differently than the people of Egypt did four thousand years ago - as slaves to the government, and as slaves to our leaders.

What Mr. Obama's government is doing now is no different from what Pharaoh's government did then, and it will end the same. And a lot of people like to call Mr. Obama a "Messiah," don't they? Is he a Messiah? A savior? Didn't the Egyptians say, after Pharaoh made them his slaves, "You have saved our lives; may it please my lord, we will be servants to Pharaoh"? Well, I tell you this - I know the Messiah; the Messiah is a friend of mine; and Mr. OBAMA IS NO MESSIAH! No, brothers and sisters, if Mr. Obama is a character from the Bible, then he is Pharaoh. Bow with me in prayer, if you will...

Lord, You alone are worthy to be served, and we rely on You, and You alone. We confess that the government is not our deliverer, and never rightly will be. We read in the eighth chapter of 1 Samuel, when Samuel warned the people of what a ruler would do, where it says "And in that day you will cry out because of your king, whom you have chosen for yourselves, but the LORD will not answer you in that day..."

And Lord, we acknowledge that day has come. We cry out to you because of the ruler that we have chosen for ourselves as a nation. Lord, we pray for this nation. We pray for revival, and we pray for deliverance from those who would be our masters. Give us hearts to seek You and hands to serve You, and protect Your people from the atrocities of Pharaoh's government. In God We Trust...

"I Can Take Off of You Curses and Bad Reports"

The following corporate prophetic word was given by Eileen Fisher on April 10, 2012 during her weekly Prophetic School of the Holy Spirit meeting in Colorado Springs, Colorado:

I hear the Lord say, "I invite you to join Me, to dance on the advance of the enemy. I called you to dance above the plans of the enemy. I called you to come and dance with My Father at the wedding feast. I invite you to dance with My Spirit as He twirls you. As He twirls you, He takes you to high places. He is going to continue to draw you in glory to glory. I bid you to dance with Me, your Savior, your risen Lord, so you can understand I have risen.

"As I have risen, so shall you above all circumstances. I will pull you out of the ashes. The ashes will be blown away by My Spirit. My Father will command things to back up where peace reigns in your hearts; where peace reigns in your minds, where peace guides you, directs you and keeps you. My own are called peacemakers. My own are called warriors. My own are called beloved: beloved by Me, beloved by others. Above all else, I call you beloved.

"Come. Come. Come. Dine with Me. Let no one else enter in and come between us in the Holy of Holies. Come face to face, heart to heart, eyes to eyes, hand to hand to where I can take out of you brokenness. I can take out of you fear and disappointment. I can take off of you curses and bad reports. I'll bring forth the blessed reports of the Lord.

"You will come to know Me as Redeemer. Did not Ruth come back from Boaz bringing good reports? Will not My own come back from My presence bringing good reports? Draw from My presence and let My presence draw from you. I am lifting up a mighty army. Listen for the wind. Watch for the fire. Come, dance in My Word and let My Word twirl around you like a sword. Pick up My Word. Pick up the battle, but dance in the battle. Do not lay down the weapon, but dance with the weapon. As you dance with My sword, the enemy will be confused for he knows and he recognizes and he understands murmuring and complaining. He comes to accuse the brethren and to accuse Me. When you dance with My Word and you dance in My presence he must leave in confusion because of the anointing. He cannot stand in the anointing. The anointing breaks the yoke," says the Lord your God.

"Place Everything Upon the Altar of Sacrifice"

The following corporate prophetic word was given by Eileen Fisher on April 17, 2012 during her weekly Prophetic School of the Holy Spirit meeting in Colorado Springs, Colorado:

The Lord says, "Lay aside everything, place it on the altar of sacrifice – every fear, every doubt, every sickness, every disease, all worries, every stress, every person, and every place. Everything. Lay it down on the altar of sacrifice. Let Me send the fire of My Spirit to consume whatever you have placed on the altar of sacrifice. I have seen your sacrifice in public as well as in private. I have seen the choices you have made in public as well as in private.

"Know I am not a distant God, but I have placed Myself within you, so we can come to know each other: knowing one another's heart, where you would pick up My heartbeat and I would pick up your heartbeat, to where our hearts will beat as one for Heaven's sake. Lay everything that concerns you upon that altar of sacrifice. Let My Spirit hover and consume what has been placed upon that alter of sacrifice. No tears wasted. No prayers unheard. No hearts unhealed.

"Place everything upon the altar of sacrifice. Give up yourself. Give up your strength. Give up your time. Give up your will. Give up your choosing. Place your mind in Me, so My thoughts will consume you. Together we will go to the altar of sacrifice and I will take what has been burned on the altar of sacrifice with My presence, and present it back to you as a stone: a precious stone. A stone that has been sanctified to where unbelief, doubt and fear, that was ugly and hard and cold, is now consumed into the reflection of a ruby – the reflection of My Blood in you, around you and upon you. Place all that would concern you upon My altar of sacrifice. Not any altar, but My altar of sacrifice.

"I did not die in vain for no reason. It was not in vain. My death had purpose, plan, provision and preparation. Know whatever you present will be presented back. Only after it too has been burned and touched by My hand, by My will, by My love, by My power. All that what concerns you, concerns Me," says the Lord your God.

"Let My Ways Unfold"

The following corporate prophetic word was given by Eileen Fisher on May 1, 2012 during her weekly Prophetic School of the Holy Spirit meeting in Colorado Springs, Colorado:

I keep hearing the Lord say, "I know some of you are too weary to come to where I am. That's why I remind you I AM with you always. Even in your weariness when you cannot come to Me, I AM with you. The only thing that changes is your awareness. The awareness that I AM with you. Allow Me to open your eyes, the eyes of your spirit man, so you can see Me working even when you do not see in the physical the manifestation. Know in the spirit I AM working. Know that I do not sleep, I do not become weary with My own, I do not worry over My own. I war for My own.

"I would offer Myself to you as your warrior, as the man of war. The man of war, who takes on the battle that has caused fatigue and strife all around you. It has not been of My Spirit, but it has been of another to distract you to pull you away and to pull you down to where you are weary in body, mind, soul and spirit. The enemy tries to place between you and Me a curtain of worry, fear, doubt, unbelief and despair. I tore the curtain once and I am tearing it down again. The curtain I desire to tear down is how you think, how you receive, how you respond. I say, do not receive in your soul, but receive unhindered in your spirit. Your spirit bears witness to truth. Your soul becomes distracted with wants and needs. Have I not said, 'Worship Me in spirit and in truth'? Keep your spirit free.

"Chose not to walk in the low mindset to where you would try to bring Me, instead chose to walk lowly with humility knowing that you serve and you dwell with an almighty God. Come to know Me as a warrior. Warring over MY own, protecting My own, plans in place for MY own. Man can throw up blueprints, man can throw up barriers, plans, assignments, but My Spirit can come with the wind and the fire and destroy every weapon that comes against you. You must pull down your thoughts. You must lift up your spirit. When you lean to your own understanding you become weak, but when you pray with My Spirit and rest in My Spirit in stillness, you gain strength. Know I am a God of strength and that I strengthen My own. Even if now you have chosen isolation, I have not chosen this for you. I have chosen fellowship, this is why I have sent My Blood upon the earth, so you could partake in fellowship with Me, spirit to Spirit.

"Ask Me for My ways and then expect My ways. Be not afraid of the word 'wait'. Be not afraid of the word 'no'. Be not afraid of the word 'occupy'. Know this is Me telling you I am aligning things in the spirit, and you must wait until My alignment is established. I do not want you out of line. I want to be the plumb line of love that is Heaven sent, Heaven dropped, Heaven marked to where you will not miss the mark. I am causing you and calling you to separate unto Me. Yes, I say come away, My beloved. I've said, 'Come away with Me.' Allow Me to be your beloved. Allow Me to be your friend, your counselor, your teacher, your guide. Know through Me all things are possible. Wait upon My timing and let My ways unfold."
